HIS Kids Preschool
September through May
HIS Kids Preschool at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church begins registration for the fall term in February. Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1st to be eligible for registration. The first day of attendance
is the Tuesday following Labor Day, and the school year ends by Memorial Day.
Holidays are the same as the Prairie Central School District.
The three year olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday
mornings from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and the four year olds meet Monday,
Wednesday and Friday mornings at the same time. The school has a faith-based
program which includes preparation for kindergarten and social interaction
with other children.

PLEASE NOTE: HIS Kids does NOT have the same institute days and parent conference days as Prairie Central! If you choose to keep your child home on any of those days, it is your option. Please let the teacher know in advance, if possible.
The school calendar for holidays off and vacations will coincide with the school calendar of the public school district. HIS Kids will not take off teacher institute days and conference days the same as the public school district.
If Prairie Central cancels school due to snow, HIS Kids will also.
Watch the major networks on t.v. and/or WJBC radio. Unlike Prairie Central, any snow days we take, will not have to be made up. |

A group from HIS Kids will be presenting their donation to MDA on the telethon Monday, Sept. 1st at 10AM! Watch us on WMBD TV (CBS).
HIS KIDS are still saving soup labels (there is a list of all brands that will work on the bulletin board in the church parish hall). They are hoping to earn enough points to get a small laminating machine, but it takes 104,350 labels! They currently have 3100 points. 500 of those points were earned by participating in the MDA Hop-a-thon.
